Recycling Project: Altered Mint Tins

Don't throw away those empty mint tins. Recycle them into lovely and functional tin containers for candies, mints, buttons, paper clips, band aids, pills, hair pins and other brick a bracks. Look what I did to some Smint and Doublemint tins. I used scrapbook paper, printed cello-tape, ribbons, buttons, foam punches, and metal charms.

Keep a stash of these altered tins and you'll have instant stocking fillers, Halloween treats or additional goodies for your party loot bags.  I enjoy making them.  I have yet to make some using washy tapes.  I'll keep you posted ;)

New Year, New Blog

Finally decided to start a new blog for my handcrafted projects.  I just want to start the year organizing and documenting what I've been doing the past years--hobbies, crafts, recycling projects and customers' orders.  If you happen to pass by and have a read... please enjoy your stay and feel free to come back for more.  Happy new year... happy new start of whatever plans you have in store for this year.  (Let me go back to my files and start loading this new blog with stuff and all. Btw, it took me almost 2 days to decide what template to use.  I found this one and loving it so far... hope you do, too.)
